PENERAPAN STRATEGI KOMPETITIF DENGAN PRAKTIK MANAJEMEN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA PADA USAHA PERTANIAN CABE KERITING
Red chilies nationally is a contributor to inflation for the Indonesian economy. Right now, chilies are still high for market demand, so many farmers are interested in growing chilies. The chili plants consist of Rawit Red Chili and Curly Red Chili. Human resources supporting staff are significant in efforts to support the management of curly chilies. Of course, labor-management related to human resource management plays an important role; this can be seen in the very high funding of labor in the operational business of managing curly chili agricultural business. This is what makes the writer interested in doing this research. This research uses a qualitative research method. The research results obtained indicate that the application of competitive strategies with human resource management practices in curly chilli farming in Kakaskasen I, Tomohon Utara District, Tomohon City with innovation is already good with the ideas and capacity to innovate and scientific capacity by exchanging ideas and synergizing with each other in management and maintenance of curly chili plants. The quality improvement strategy includes the division of labor and participation in relevant decision making by the work, which is already good and runs according to the initial commitment. However, for some job security guarantees, we suggest that Operational Procedure Standards be provided in the implementation of the work, for example, the standard for fertilizing through pest spraying, standards for work accidents, and fertilizing standards for using manure. The cost reduction strategy regarding performance appraisal and close supervision of the market wage level has been going well, but it is better to carry out continuous evaluation and performance evaluation so that the continuation of the business stays alive and goes on.
